How to enter and change personal information
If your contact information (email and mobile number) is incorrect, secondary authentication for the app will not be possible, and you will be unable to use the school's mobile and PC services. Therefore, it is essential to update and ensure the accuracy of this information.
Additionally, scholarships and other income may be deposited into the bank account information entered on the school website. Thus, it is crucial to provide accurate details (bank name and account number).

How to Pursue a Double Major (including Minor, Interdisciplinary, or Customized Majors)
Pursuing a Double Major within BIC College
Credit Requirements:
Complete 36 credits for your primary major (A Major).
Complete 36 credits for your secondary major (B Major).
This must be achieved by the time of graduation.
General Education Requirements:
General education courses remain the same as those for a single major, requiring 30 credits (including CIC and Taekwondo courses).
Application Process:
Apply autonomously during the double major application period specified in the academic calendar via My Portal.
Course Recognition:
Courses taken for either major (A Major or B Major) will be recognized as part of the graduation requirements.

How to Apply for a Minor or Customized Major:
Log in to My Portal.
Go to the top menu and select Academic Services > Major Application > [Minor (Interdisciplinary/Convergent/Integrated Major Application)] or [Customized Major Application].
If Unable to Fulfill Double Major Requirements:
Application for Withdrawal:
If you are unable to fulfill the credit requirements for a double major (required for graduation qualification) by your intended graduation semester, you must apply for withdrawal from the double major. Failure to do so will restrict your graduation qualification for your primary major.
Credit Handling Upon Withdrawal:
Credits earned in courses offered by your primary major will be recognized as major credits.
Credits earned in courses not part of your primary major will be recognized as free elective credits.
Special Note:
If a student who was pursuing a double major decides to withdraw but has earned at least 21 credits for the double major, they can apply for and be recognized with a minor instead.

Do I need to attend makeup classes during the makeup period?
보강기간에도 학교에 출석하여야 하나요?

Yes, you are required to attend makeup classes during the designated makeup period.
If you do not attend these sessions, your absence will be recorded. Makeup classes are scheduled to compensate for classes missed due to public holidays or other reasons, and attendance is mandatory for maintaining your academic standing.
Note:
• Automatic Grade Penalty:
According to school regulations, students with more than four weeks of absences will automatically receive an "F" grade. Please be mindful of this rule.• Exceptions to Attendance:
For any attendance-related exceptions outside the standard policy, students must directly consult the professor in charge of the course.학사일정에 따라 공휴일로 인한 휴강은 반드시 보강기간에 보강수업을 진행하여야 하며,
기간내 출석하지 않는 학생은 결석 처리됩니다.
교내 지침에 따라 출석일수가 4주 초과인 학생은 성적이 자동으로 F 처리 되므로 이 점에 유의하여야 합니다.
지침 외 출석인정에 관한 사항은 수강하고 있는 수업의 담당 교수에게 직접 문의하여야 합니다.

1.Obtain Relevant Documentation:
• Prepare a medical certificate or any official documentation proving your illness from hospital. This is required to apply for a sick leave.
• Note: Prescription slips or pharmacy receipts will not be accepted as valid supporting documents for sick leave. Only official medical certificates or equivalent documentation are recognized.
2.Notify the BIC Academic Support TeamOffice(Buliding #19):
• Submit the medical certificate to the BIC Academic Support Team office
• Note: The medical certificate or supporting documents must be submitted within one week before or after the date the illness occurred.
3. Inform the Course Instructors:
• Notify your professors about your absence and provide a copy of the medical certificate if requested.
4.Attendance Adjustment:
• Approved sick leave may be considered an excused absence according to the school’s policies.
• Note: Approval of sick leave and adjustments to attendance depend on the school’s regulations and the professor’s discretion. Always follow up with your professors for specific requirements.

3. 교수님께 전달:
담당 교수님들께 결석 사유를 알리고, 필요시 진단서 원본 또는 사본을 제출합니다.
4. 출석 인증
승인된 병결은 학교 내부 규정에 따라 공결로 인정될 수 있습니다.
• 주의: 병가 승인 및 출석 조정 여부는 학교 규정 및 담당 교수님의 재량에 따릅니다.
반드시 교수님과 후속 조치를 논의하여 구체적인 요구 사항을 확인해야 합니다.

Certificates can also be issued directly in Korean or English through the self-serivce kiosks located on campus.
Kiosk Locations:
•Building 17, 3rd Floor
•Building 8, 1st Floor
•Building 1, 2nd Floor
Simply follow the on-screen instructions on the kiosk to select and print the desired certificate.

How to change my major
-Eligibility Criteria
-Students must be enrolled for at least one semester (change of major is not allowed immediately after admission).

How to Apply for a Change of Major
1. Log in to My Portal:
Access the portal via my.tu.ac.kr and log in using your credentials.
2. Navigate to Academic Services:
From the top menu, select [Academic Services].
3. Go to Major Application:
Click on the Major Application section.
4. Select Change of Affiliation (Change of Major):
Choose the Change of Affiliation (Change of Major) option to proceed with your application.
Note: Ensure you meet the eligibility criteria and complete the application during the designated period as specified in the academic calendar.

Preparation, Class survey, Grade objection, Punctuality Preparation Your phone number and email address must be correctly entered in the basic academic requirement section on T-Up. Class survey Students who have not completed the class survey are not allowed to check their grades.
